Hi local guides. I’m just wondering if there are other fellow local guides from Kaduna, Nigeria. Would be interesting to know if people from my city applied for the connect live 2020 as well and are active on this platform. Perhaps it would interesting to have meetups I can join or host one as the case might be.
I guess this would be great way for us to shape our city better to help others.

I want to give you a tip so you can find other LG in your city. This month a new option was launched in Connect that allows you to follow the posts of 3 different locations. If you choose your city or some nearby you can discover who are the other LG that are there, and make contact with them. Just read this post and you’ll find how to follow that locations!

Believe me I have been there and done that since the update popped, only to find a flood of my posts there and 3 others from the entire year. I reached out to them already though no response yet but I hope they do and could connect me to more of their network.
I also came across an attempted meetup about a year or two ago with a host and two others. No recap so I don’t know how’d it go a more reason why I wanted a link to invite others. I hope we build a community around it.
So I recommend you to look for Local Guides in your country and make contact with them. But don’t stop to organize a meetup, right now all the meetups are virtual and I think you should already schedule one. I am sure that LG from your country and many others from the world will join and you will have a great time!
I just found out about a groupchat of local guides in my country which I joined. Although Nigeria is quite a big with different geographical zones and I was wondering whether people from my zone are here as well. But I’m glad I found others from other zones and I can’t wait to connect with them.
