On Being a local guide in a country different than yours …I would like to hear opinions ??

I’m an expat living in Asia and contributing to local guides where do I fit.

Which community of local guides can join being and expat ?? or can you start yours ???

You can join any Local guide Community in Asia but my suggestion to you please join your regional local guide community and you stay tuned with them. It’s better way to future Meetups and get together. Keep contributing in whole world. You can also join other local guide community.

Its a good topic ,

A local guide is not for only a particular area. A local local guide is for everywhere and those are being local where he/ she go.

When i go to visit any new place at first i try to understand thats places then act as a local. It is the power of a Local Guides.

Otherwise we can join any Google Local Guides Community but we have to be regular where are we live. Thats why we can share our all story for all who want to know about my area. that is my opinion .

Correct!!! The only problem is the language barrier I guess. I’m English speaker and don’t speak the language of my current city-country and yes there’s a community but not open for non locals or at least is the way Its at the moment.
