Arabic translation for places on maps

Hello guys,

I travelled to Egypt some time back and i should say that its very painful to search for specific places. Many places are written in arabic with no translation.

Do you know if there is a translator on maps for these countries?

Hi @Avifrnd ,

While I wish you have spent a nice time during your visit to Egypt, I’m sorry to hear about such an issue with the locations’ tags in Arabic.

Please note that of us in Local Guides Egypt, are working to ensure that all locations has both Arabic and English titles correctly.

If you have any samples of the places you tried to find, would be very helpful to us.

Sorry for this inconvenient situation , but as you know most of poi are automatically translated and it’s not completely accurate .

Nowadays the numbers of map editor is very small after the closure of map maker , and we ( local guides Egypt team ) are trying hardly to fix these issues as soon as possible .
