Aquarium of São Paulo, Brazil. The largest in South America

Best tour of São Paulo to do with children, but also worth going adults only.

Looking out the place looks small, but it is giant inside, and is much more than aquarium. Initially you see fish, pass under stingrays and many sharks, but there are many types of fish, penguins, snakes, lizards, frog, spider, madagascar cockroach, marsupial, kangaroo, lemurs, sloth, seals, sea lion, and many, many other animals until finishing with the star of the aquarium, the polar bear Aurora. I took the carnival promotion paying 50 Reais in ticket for all ages, and it is well worth the cost benefit.

When walking we realize that the cost to keep animals well treated is very high, the polar bear for example has a tank with 6 air conditioning towers and natural snow. They have 3 stores, one in the middle of the route, one more to the end, and another in the end, extremely smart, as it is a compulsory route and the children are watered down.

On food, they own snacks well in that Hot Pocket style, microwave burger, with about 25 reais the combo. It has ice creams (from 7) and popcorn (10 reais). I honestly recommend taking something from home, or from the street, that is allowed. The aquarium has 3 toys that are paid separately, 15.00 each. A prehistoric one, you’ll be in a stroll in the middle of the dinosaurs, another under zero, where in the stroll you pass in the midst of the ice age characters, and the 7D cinema, cinema that moves the chair with 3D glasses and sneezes drops of water and venta, but has only 5 minutes. And the place is totally accessible to wheelchair users

The parking is 35 reais, high, better to go by subway and get off at the Santos / Imigrantes station and go on foot, or catch a Uber from the station. In short, I’ve been to many parks and tours in SP, but this is simply the best. Is it worth the $ 50? Every penny.
