In the southern part of Apulia, in Italy, the best way to spend your breakfast time is with two typical products. The first one in “Caffè in ghiaccio”, an espresso served with almond milk and ice and the second is “pasticciotto”, shortcrust pastry full of hot cream.
If you want to have this, there are a lot of places where you can try the real taste. One of the most popular and with a great quality in low prices is Tiziano in Calimera (near Lecce). The location is really attractive and they have a lot of variety of pasticciotti (with pistacchio, chocolate, nuts…) .
Coffee and cake for breakfast is just perfect but I prefer my coffee hot so don’t think I would like theespresso served ice @FabioSbriglio . The pasticciotto full of hot cream sounds awesome!
@AdamGT It’s really personal, for sure. I prefer the hot way in cold months, this way is more popular in summer days to breakdown hot temperatures. I love to take that in this season!
