Hey guys n gals! I made around 20 approved edits and 15 approved new places, review over 200 characters. All this was approved 10hr ago and still never got my points and my badge points haven’t moved at all!
please help as I really enjoy contributing to maps but now with this issue I have 0 interests in moving forward.

Please see this post What happened to my points? that I wrote together with ErmesT. It explains the typical delays in our contributions getting counted and updated.
I don’t think what you reported is unusual.

I appreciate the quick response! Hopefully it updates soon so I can go back to correcting all these spammy profiles and missing places!
@MortenCopenhagen UPDATE: my points were give and edits/places are counted. Took 48hrs. Still waiting on badge update. But that’s okay I’m sure another few days like you mentioned.
I’m almost level 7, how come it never has edits for me to verify?? I’ve edited and added like 50 times still no verifications available. Suggestions please n thanks!

First of all you need to understand that each approved edit attracts 5 points, approved added new place 15 points and reviews above 200 words 20 and rating 1
compute your points as follows
accepted edits 20 X 5 = 100
accepted new place 15 X 15 = 225
Reviews up to 200 _ X 21 = ___
Total _______________
BUT NOTE THAT POINTS FROM EDITS DOES NOT COME IMMEDIATELY AFTER APPROVAL
in my own experience it takes average of 3 days. Wait for a week then check your points again
Is only photos and answers the gets points added immediately after acceptance
