I created a road weeks back and after getting the approval mail, I have noticed that that same road isn’t visible on Google Maps yet.
I tried asking a friend to add the same street, which she did and it also got approved but never became visible on the Google Maps.

I understand the frustration @SamsonS you got further than me, I put in a heap of new roads and all but one got rejected. That one has not appeared on the Map either.
Life’s like that sometimes. I’ll be asking about road adding at Connect Live this year if there is a break out with appropriate Googlers.

@SamsonS I hope this will not add to your frustrations:
I have resently added a road and made a few changes to roads via feedback. They get approved within 24 hours. They become visible on the map after 2-3 days. Navigation starts using new roads only after about a week or so.
I try to be super precise to make the changes as easy as possible to implement. And I also add a bragging sentence about my local guide level. I have no idea if that helps getting new roads approved. To me it seems so.
I hope you will be successful very soon. I know how frustrating it can be.

Whatever I do learn @MortenCopenhagen I won’t be able to tell anyone! All attendees sign an NDA. That’s why we only talk about the parties and sessions where we’ve been specifically told we can share.

But I can’t still find a lasting solution to my issue yet, neither were there indications that someone is looking into the issue is its a system issue that needs urgent attention.
@KlaudiyaG directed you to the best place @SamsonS that functionality (everything under Send Feedback) is Maps functionality that is open to Local Guides rather than Local Guides itself.
The help forum people are pretty good and a lot of the Product Experts there also use Connect regularly so they get a feel for the issues that people face.
We can’t really help more than that because we don’t know any more about the new Add Roads functionality than you do @SamsonS
