Hi. I have a question regarding my application for connect live 2020. I know that it was canceled and each applicant received a bage. I was an applicant too but I didn’t receive any bage. May I ask you how can I solve this problem? Why did I submit the application and I’m not counted as an applicant? Does it mean that you never received my application? What did happen to my application and how to PREVENT this error the next year?

P.S and of course I want to have my bage Connect Live 2020 Applicant

I’ve not received the Badge on my profile for the connect Live 2020 application.

I applied before the deadline and submitted my application with a confirmation email.

I just got the announcement about the cancellation here, I didn’t get the email or the badge like other applicants.

Can I Plz know the reason why I didn’t get them after applying and getting a confirmation email?

@Elegantjoy — Sorry to read this. It does take time to roll out the Connect Live 2020 Applicant badge.

Have you checked all your Gmail folders, including your Spam folder? Also, have your done - “@google.com” search in your Gmail account.

I am tagging Google Moderators @AngieYC @Ivi_Ge to review your issue in case you still have not received your official Connect Live 2020 Applicant email.

Sorry to hear that you have not recived the recent badge CONNECT LIVE ATTENDEE .

1. I will request you to please check your Spam mail also.
2. Further please recheck your application video on YouTube, whether it fullfill the requirements as mentioned by Google ( video less than one minute, video should be public).
3. Have you recived the confirmation mail of your application submission.

@Sandeepnirvan @KarenVChin good morning, I checked my spam and inbox it’s not there. I also uploaded a 54secs video on YouTube and followed all instruction before submitting my application. I got a confirmation email in that regard.

I’m surprised I didn’t receive the email for cancellation of the event and badge after submitting my application before the deadline in March. @JanVanHaver

I have seen your video on YouTube. It is 54 seconds, which is as per requirements. There might be some other reason for not getting mail and connect live applicant mail. Let us wait for Google moderators to reply as assured by @KarenVChin . I am tagging @TraciC for an official reply

I’ve not received a response. I haven’t received my Badge yet for the connect Live application 2020 after submitting, following all instructions, uploading a 54secs YouTube video & linking it to my application and finally receiving a Confirmation email in that regards all in March.

I’m surprised that I didn’t get the cancellation email neither did I get the Badge after fulfilling all requirements.

I always receive email notification from Google maps and LG connect for points earned and contributions on the map. It’s quite strange why they didn’t send me this important announcement and Badge in my email like other applicants.

Two Google Moderators have been already tagged on @KarenVChin replies, so they will respond when available, and there is no need to tag other moderators in this thread.

@Sandeepnirvan In addition, please tag ONLY Google Moderators that are in the Google Moderator list, avoiding to tag an admin like Traci, as she’s not moderating the community.

(1) I suggest to Change your title.

Write,

*Applicant badge not received. *

(2) it’s not application error. It’s Selection procedure of google team. Don’t think like that your application is not selected, that’s you consider as error. No this is no any error in this.

(3) Big No and Big Sorry.

Now you can’t get this badge. It has been finished now. (Also check Emails).

If any new update, I will inform you.

(4) Next time, you make a much more better application for connect live to avoid this problem and get select for connect live.

It also depends on your google Maps and LG connect Contributions.

Where did you read in the post that “Google Team do analysis of our connect live applications and Choose most impressive Applications”

What I can read is

“All Connect Live 2020 applicants who are also members of Connect as of 9am ET on May 7th received a badge to recognize their application submission”

that is totally different of what you wrote. Can you kindly explain please?
