Anzac Day in Crib Point

Anzac Day, a time for all Australians to come together and show tribute to those lost while giving freedom to those of us left to remember.

Since moving to Crib Point we are now privileged to visit the Cerberus Naval Base for their dawn service.

It is probably one of the most emotionally charged events I have ever attended and has always managed to bring tears to my eyes.

Thinking of those brave souls, fighting for their families and their country.

If you happen to be anywhere local to this, they invite you also to come and be welcomed to commemorate.

Please take the chance to share in some of our rich history and also see the beauty of the Navy Base :slight_smile:

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Hey @Stephydubs ,

I think that your idea was really sweet. By the way, did you know that Local Guides have their own platform where they can submit or search for meet-ups? To learn more about it, please feel free to check the following article called - How to organize a successful meet-up?. In there you’ll find a lot of useful tips and tricks that will help you host your own personal meet-up. Sounds exciting right? :slight_smile:

Hope you’ll find the above helpful and note that if you have any questions or issues, as always you are more than welcome to reach out to me or to any of the others Google Moderators.
