Can someone tell me where this message is coming from? I can’t find anything on the helpdesk or even in standard google search. I’ve redacted some locations - those boxes aren’t part of the problem. I think someone is messing around and trying to gain access to my location but I want to be sure.
Hi @JohnFS this is something that happens; maybe a company is trying to start spamming using the Sharing location feature.
To stop unknown users ask you to share your location: open google maps app, goto settings => Notifications => People & places => remove the option “Location-sharing requests”.
