Anyone Else Having Issues WITH PHOTOS?

I noticed a couple months ago when scrolling through past reviews that there were photos and videos which were originally published to the platform successfully and now they’re gone - a place maker reading: 'Your Upload Is Pending’ left in its place.

I didn’t think much of it at the time, but now after posting a couple reviews and waiting for any lag to clear itself up – it hasn’t.

I haven’t been notified in any way that there was any type of complaint or violations in the content or its purpose for being posted so I don’t think there’s any issues there.

I’ve never seen this before or had any problems and my photos/video are always appropriate and reference-level material.

Anyway, thought I’d see if it’s only me? I’m sure it can’t be. It’s just kind of pissing me off to be honest. I know there’s a world of spam and BS content out there people try to publish on Maps, but I’ve always kept a level-head and professional attitude in upholding the “Google Local Guide” title and stop to think before I post.

I would hope if there was an issue, I’d get some kind of alert or notification about it. But, nothing. Not on Maps, in my Gmail or anywhere.

Anyone?

I remember this might be a bug, and one of the Google Moderators suggested reinstalling the app and then deleting the pending pics and then uploading them again after 2-3 days.

I’m also experiencing this for photos I recently uploaded with one of my reviews.

Right now neither my review nor my photos are visible on the POI. I will wait another week and will do what @MortenCopenhagen suggested.

I am still seeing same message for photos from 2 to 5 years ago in reviews and nothing has changed.

Thanks. I’ll try doing this. I’ve been patient already and it’s not like I’m in a rush. I just want it to be accurate with my content. Thanks again.
