I feel sad that I don’t see any activity in Bahrain, and that is also the same for most GCC countries!!

first download the google maps app on your mobile , if you have an android there are more features to it than the IOS version.

from the app you can see details of your contribution .

tips on how you can contribute in google maps and grow your levels

  1. take photos of places and post them in google maps through the mobile app

there is a lot to do if you are good in taking photos - even you can take photos of food dishes you like in a restaurant and then post them on the google map of that restaurant with your own comments

when you take photos make sure the location feature is already switched on in your mobile so that each photo you click gets the location gps details - its then easy to share it on google maps

  1. review places and give your comments and be honest in your comments so that its helpful for others.

  2. add new places if they are not existing in google maps (e.g. a new shop/restaurant/business etc)

when adding places the more information you provide the more points you get like opening and closing timings / tel /website / address etc

  1. be the first to give first review of any new place, there are good points for that
