We’ll be there for Christmas and Boxing Day this year - my first Christmas in the UK!
I believe @RikM is new to the Colchester area and was looking for Local Guides to meet-up with. @SteveW is also from Essex.

Yes, for sure. I think Saffron Walden is mutual territory. Cambridge too, or Thaxsted is not too far away.

There was a Local Guide Community for Colchester (assume there still is) and one here in South Essex too. Definitely up for arranging something locally if there is enough interest/demand too!

In case the warmer weather encourages people to liaise more - I’m based in Stock, a village between Billericay & Chelmsford. In any case it would be good to add friends and stay in touch with local guide folk.

There was an event in London recently. I’m based near Billericay. I’d imagine loads of guides live in Cambridge - worth a search. Google doesn’t actively assist meet-ups, but it’s open to anyone to make a suggestion and try to organise one. This site’s forums are not very active useful for getting to know people - it seems a lot of chat occurs elsewhere once a group has formed.
