I think what I like the most about being a Local Guide is answering questions about the places I visit regularly. Things like is there parking available, or is there a customer toilet available, does it have a Petrol Station, that sort of thing.
I also like answering other users’ specific questions, as it makes me feel useful. In particular if it is about a local business like Garages, because here in England the big chaines do have a reputation of taking women for granted, so it is nice to be able to share what I thought with other women and help them find the right service for their needs.
So, don’t be shy, and ask away. I am happy to help.
