Hi, googlers, moderators and all local guides. See some reviews about the Google Maps application on PlayStore and some of them give one star(meaning is very disappointed), why no one can answer?

Some of them give negative comments because the blue point is inaccurate, the route doesn’t update and the sound of the directions is not clear. Is this being repaired from that problem? If yes I hope this can be resolved. In addition it is hoped that there are admins who can answer user complaints in the review column on the Play Store.

I am sorry if the people is encountering some issue on reaching a place.

Only the owner of a business can (if the business is claimed) answer on the reviews. Is the business claimed?

Pin in a wrong Position

A business owner of a claimed place can also move the pin or fix the position (Edit your business listing on Google ) and the same can do a Local Guide (Suggest edits to a place or flag it for removal)

The route doesn’t update and the sound of the directions is not clear. This seems to me more related to bad connection, probably due to a not good coverage in the area. Have you tried with an “offline Map”? (Download areas and navigate offline ) This normally helps, in places with no connection or low connection, even if the traffic situation is not updated.

BTW, if the reason of that is an issue in Google Maps, what a Local Guide can do, for helping the team to fix the issue on the App, is to report an error, through the “send a feedback” that you will find scrolling down your menu on Google Maps.

Regarding the issue with the POI with inaccuracies, as @ErmesT kindly shared in thoroughly, do feel free to check on that regard. (as the reply would be accepted as Solution, should that be reached out bu other Local Guides with similar question)

Should there be any further ideas, that are related to the Local Guides Program for any improvements that you may construct in details, do not hesitate to let us know in the Idea Exchange!

For the moment, the post would be relocated to the category of How-tos, should that be closer to the main subject.

You may also use the tagging system, with the “@” so that the name of a person you are forwarding the message will appear, should there be any need to mention a Google or a Connect Moderator, as it also allows you to receive notification to follow up posts easily.

I just wanted to add as an important note, as it is important not to share personal detail on Connect, I have removed the images in the main post.

Iya juga @Irfan_dPriyanto .

Banyak orang yang kecewa dengan Google Maps karena sebenarnya mereka tidak menggunakan Google Maps dengan semestinya.

Semisal menggunakan mobil tetapi moda transportasi pada Google Maps yang dipakai adalah moda sepeda motor.
