Indonesia is an archipelago and also has many mountains, both active and inactive mountains.

One of the active volcanoes in Indonesia is Mount Merapi. Mount Merapi is located in the middle of the island of Java, and is in two provinces, Central Java and Yogyakarta.

Mount Merapi has an altitude of 2,930 meters above sea level, data as of 2010 (WIKIPEDIA).

In 2010 experienced a major eruption and at this time the status was Alert.

I happened to live 25km from the peak of Merapi. I was very in love with Merapi when I first came to Yogyakarta, and since then I have a dream that one day I can stay on the cool slopes of Merapi. and thank God my dream has finally come true.

Merapi really understands my dreams, every morning on a sunny day, Merapi always shows its beauty and valor, and as if Merapi has a different story different every day.

Merapi is also one of the icons of Yogyakarta, every tourist who comes is definitely not valid if he doesn’t visit Merapi.

The tours offered are adventure and educational tours, we can get around the Merapi slopes by renting jeeps or motorbikes that are managed by many local residents, and we can visit the Merapi Museum which contains collections related to the history of Gunung Merapi and many tourist rides with local wisdom that are guaranteed to bring satisfaction for tourists who visit.

If I have my own way to enjoy the beauty of Merapi.

That is, if the day is clear and clear, then I will definitely look for the best place to take photos while enjoying stories from Merapi that day made for me.

Really after that I felt happiness and satisfaction.

I do not need to climb Merapi because I have never climbed a mountain at all, but by watching and capturing it with my cellphone camera it’s already something extraordinary that I can do.
