For small mountain villages, tourism represents an important value. Often slow tourism, which stays in hotels and B&Bs, which goes to dinner in typical local restaurants, which buys typical products, and which takes long walks in the area.
Making the visit more pleasant is a fundamental principle for villages, to ensure that visitors have a good time and return again.
Places that live thanks to the beauty of their territory therefore do everything necessary to improve the territory and the visit. Clean paths, well-maintained picnic areas, public fountains where you can find free drinking water, places where you can stop and admire the view are therefore key elements for them to support sustainable tourism.
My way of helping them is to add these places to Google Maps
Removing these places from Google Maps therefore creates damage to the village.
Yet, another scenic spot has just been removed from Google Maps
Luckily, being a location within the EU, I immediately received a notification that my review had been removed, and was able to grab the links before they disappear forever.
I made a last resort attempt, and managed to edit my review, which magically reappeared (without the attached photo). But I fear that this is not enough to restore the place.
Just in case, can you check @DeniGu ?
