Thanks to this post, “Why don’t you see moss phloxes?”, I could find such a nice place in my region. Thank you @yuokada !

This is Moss phlox of LALA CLUB in Iwate at a few days ago. We call it Shibazakura (芝桜) that means lawns like sakura. Of course, it is not sakura but we also love such a beautiful lawn. The best season of this is a bit later than sakura.

LALA CLUB is a gardening supplies and seeds store. In the site, there are also some sightseeing places like this, we are able to see beautiful flowers on those seasons respectively.

岩手の花苗店、らら倶楽部さんで芝桜を見てきました。実はちゃんと見たことがなかったのですが壮観なものです。ちなみに奥に見える山が岩手山になります。日本には各地に有名な芝桜スポットがあるそうですね。たまにはこんな花見を紹介してみるのも良いのではないでしょうか。

May is the best month to enjoy Shibazakura in my region, Iwate (Northeast of Tokyo). Japan is a long country so we can enjoy it from April to May at each region:)

I plan to visit German Alps in October 2019.

For Japan, I would love to go to Kurobe Gorge but I don’t have a rigid plan yet. Have you been there?

Unfortunately, I have never been to Kurobe Gorge. But it is a very popular and beautiful place. Your choice is so cool! I recommend you to go there in Autumn. You are able to see an amazing view:)

綺麗ですね！岩手では今くらいが見頃なんでしょうか？

芝桜は桜ほど脚光を浴びませんが個人的には見上げながら鑑賞する桜よりも安全性は高い様な気がします☺️
