The current season is perfect for outdoor gatherings (if it’s not raining ) across Australia as we get a chance to sit right under the sun - try to make most of our time before it gets dark (i.e. 5 PM). Last couple of days have not been super healthy for Sydney as we’ve witnessed couple of new Covid-19 cases and that’s the reason most of the people are acting quite responsibly and they try to avoid unnecessary travels.
However, about 1 month ago, I wrote about my weekend lunch party at the Bicentennial Park and I was asked by @PoliMC if I barbecued there (which I did not). Two weeks after that, I along with some other friends and their families setup a plan and we went to the upper north of Sydney to spend sometime at one of the most beautiful, well maintained and peaceful parks aka Fagan Park. This park offers all kinds of attractions and activities that a usual park would do. In addition to this, it also has organic food forest, orchard and herb garden.
According to the official sources (council), Fagan Park was originally owned by the Fagan family and operated as an orchard and cattle farm. The park was adopted as Council’s bicentennial project and was officially opened in November, 1988 after it was donated by the Fagan Family.
We had a fantastic time there with really appealing views and the beautiful weather and yes, the barbecue was FUN!
Soon, I’ll be sharing another with you.
Until next spot
