I love my city, but like all most big cities in the world it has some problems. Most people like to talk about their faults but I prefer to talk about their qualities.
In march we had the commemoration of our carnival, this event has been growing a lot in São Paulo, many people are choosing to spend this holiday here. I would love to write to people telling which is my favorite “Bloco de Carnaval” and why, what care should be taken in the midst of such large crowds.
I like to talk about things that are cool and also about things that are not. So the people will not be taken by surprise and they can be careful about it.
My favorite “Bloco de Carnal’ is the Baixo Augusta. He usually goes out a week before carnival. Has as main singer Wilson Simoninha an undeniable talent and always brings great names of Brazilian popular music for his “trio eletrico”. For the second consecutive year I brought Maria Rita, one of our great interpreters. The Bloco presents itself in the street carnival of São Paulo to 10 years. The audience is increasing every year so anyone who wants to participate has to keep in mind that you will find a great crowd.
