Another beautiful evening: A View from Bhootathankettu dam in Kerala, India. The Malayalam name Bhoothathankettu means, ‘monster fort’, which throws light to that legend pervading the crude dam built by the demons.

@jintogeorge I missed this place last visit. The last time I was at Kothamangalam, I managed to head to Ayappan mudi (https://goo.gl/maps/zXFekfzBMDMV74cZ9 )… It was already quite late in the evening, so I didn’t manage to visit Bhootathankettu dam (https://goo.gl/maps/wE46Nnotp88z5c1V8 ) which is less than 10km away.

its great to know that you have visited the nearby places. There are much many places nearby like bhoothathankettu dam, thattekad bird sanctuary etc,…Ones you get a chance, definitely you should visit these places.
