The main reason for this is to explore the ankole culture. 1. Location. Igongo Cultural Center is located in Biharwe, Mbarara District in the south western region of Uganda. It lies along the Mbarara-Masaka highway and it neighbors Lake Mburo National Park. Well you won’t get surprised when you see Giraffes around 2. Activities to take place. 1. Visiting the ankole museum; this museum has got all the ancient ankole culture items. 2. Hill Climbing to the Biharwe Hill and having a close reach to the ‘’Eclipse’’ monument at the cliff. 3. Eating and drinking at the Country hotel’s modern state of the art Restaurant, Lounge and bar. 3. Meet up Points. Local Guides around Kampala, we shall have to meet at Global Bus Terminal, Old Kampala. 4. Carry Ons. Local Guides are advised to come along with their back packs fully equipped with their Toilet bags, and personal accessories since we shall have a sleep over at the country hotel, cameras for potshots, a bottle of water since it shall be a long drive. 5. Route to be used. We are going to use road transport, and from Bakuli bus terminal we shall join the Kampala-Masaka highway, on reaching Masaka we shall connect to the Mbarara-Masaka highway to Biharwe our final destination. 6. Cost for Attendees. All Local Guides are expected to have a minimum of UGX 200,000 or USD54.12 to meet individual expenses of Food, Accommodation, Transport and Logistics
