Angkor Wat is a wonderful place, full of history, architectural masterpieces & extremely beautiful scenery.

Tourist complex of Angkor Wat has two main circles to explore the temples. Normally the guides propose 3 days tickets & 3 main circles, but even if you don’t have enough time for all 3 days, the small circle will be great & fascinating to get an idea about the history & the style of this magic place in general.

Much less people in the morning, & too humid & hot in the afternoon in a dry season. So I highly recommend to dress up wet cloth & take water with you to cool yourself down during your trip.

Of course it’s possible to ride a bicycle there as well as take a took-took for the whole day. Keep in mind that the distance from Seam Reap to Angkor Wat is about 20-30 min drive by took-took & the distance between the temples even within the small circle is quite significant (5-7 min by took-took).
If you take the big circle the distance will be doubled.

You will enjoy the view, the temples & the spirit of this magnificent place!

Thank youuuu @Giuseppe75 ! This is the giant sculpture on the one of the gates to Bayon Temple, might represent the face of Avalokitesvara.
