I love sharing on Google Maps because it makes going out in to a world that through technology feel so separated feel so personal. I love to be able to give good feedback when I love places and share the love to help their community grow. I also love how the community comes together to provide information on wheelchair access show how inclusive places are or are not and how we can do better. Through my health journey I have become aware of seeing the world through the lens of inclusivity. It is fantastic to see when places are open to everyone and disappointing to see when they forget to include important members of our society. One of my favourite things about being a local guide is seeing how paying attention to where I am and who can access these public places teaches us how we can do better. This is just the start of this discussion and I am proud to be apart of it.
