I have a new follower whose profile is exploiting drugs in my area. I’ve reported the user to Google several times, and the profile is still live. This can either be a form of black SEO to a Google Profile by linking negative and illegal keywords to my profile as a follower or someone honestly advertising illegal items on Google Maps that Underage google mappers will run into. I do not want to compromise the integrity of my profile and points I’ve built up over the years due to a non-compliant profile linking to my profile as a follower. How do I remove this profile without ramifications, and or how is such a profile removed if it goes against Google’s policies, assuming Google’s policies are regulated at the State and Government levels?
Hi all! Just figured it out. You can simply block them on the 3 Dots at the top right of your screen. I did report them as well in the same section so disregard the question unless you have some good feedback.

It should be in the “How tos” section , it’s used to ask questions. There are also marked solution etc on it. Nevertheless you can move or edit it to the appropriate section yourself. Just click on the three blue dots:
Select edit message
Select the “how tos” section at the top of the page.
Select save message below.

First of all I am happy that you were able to find the way to fix your issue (blocking the inappropriate profile).
Unfortunately it seems we have a recent proliferation of this kind of profile, I’ve already escalate a lot of them to the team.
Regarding selecting the topic, Connect is a website, so the functionality should not be tied to the operating system. To choose the next topics, just slide them to the left to see more topics available.
@TiffanyStockstill Good to know how to block these users, but a year after your post, I’m seeing an increase in inappropriate followers on my profile. There must be a way for google to block these “spammers”.
@tony_b naturally with all platforms transforming to online social medias , this is bound to happen. I had 3 in the past week. You can send feedback marking this as spam once you receive the notification from Google of the new follower. After you send feedback, block the account .
