An evening with #GoogleMaps15

On Thursday, February 6th 2020, I had the opportunity to celebrate alongside Googlers, top social media influencers and local guides the 15th anniversary of Google Maps at the Google Developers Space in Lagos, Nigeria. The event titled an evening with Google Maps was all about celebrating Google Maps everyday helpfulness and highlighting the journey so far over the last 15 years. From 9 billion connections between consumers and merchants every month to over 120 million local guides contributing on Google Maps, no doubt Google Maps has become one of the most used and loved tool on the planet helping people make an informed decision about places to go. As a local guide, I am very thrilled to be a part of the Google Maps success story knowing the fact that my contributions as helped shape the map and also counts towards its everyday usefulness. @HelloSamsonR what a wonderful recap bro - these photos and hearing about your experience just makes me want to visit the Nigerian LG community even more! Between the happy faces and the amazing theming by Google, this looked like another wonderful way to commemorate GMaps’ 15th!

Thanks @Petra_M . For dinner, I had the popular Nigerian jollof rice, moi-moi and some salads :green_salad: alongside some desserts. It was very tasty and yummy :slightly_smiling_face:
