So, here is a little sneak peek to my trip to the Aravallis, in Rajasthan! The place called Mount Abu! If you’re planning for a trip with friends then this is an ideal place to visit!
We had visited the place on a two day trip and we had booked tents for ourselves in an isolated area, away, far away from the hustle bustle of the town! The trip was a pure budget trip and we successfully completed it in 1800 bucks.
Day 1: We started from Ahmedabad via train around 8 am in the morning and reached Abu Road Stn. around 1 pm. Later we booked an SUV and reached the hill top. The journey was of around 45mins to 1 hour. Later we trekked to the camp site, freshened up, visited the temple nearby, clicked some photos on the hill side and headed to the camp fire place! With freezing temperatures of around 5°C, the camp by the fire side made it an amazing experience. We got ourselves some soft and hard drinks and enjoyed the chilling winds.
Day2: We started early that day, then moved forward to trek some unexplored places. ( It was a very rigorous trek and I suggest, it’s nit fir the weak hearted or those running short of breath. Wear clothes, that make you feel comfy and make sure you carry water, though not plastic bottles. And dont forget to wear your sports shoes). Later, we visited the highest peak and did some birdwatching. Then we moved on to see some narrow caves, and if you are claustrophobic then, just don’t visit the caves. Later we visited the local sight seeing point and at the end visited the Nakki lake and did some shopping there and then we took a bus and came back which marked the end of our trip.
Overall it was a short trip and a satisfying one! Here, I am enclosing some pictures from my visit!
