An Architectural Wonder - Padmanabhapuram Palace

The Padmanabhapuram Palace is a classic example of the Kerala style of architecture, is located at a distance of 40 km from Kanyakumari and 50 km from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, India. The interior of the palace is absolutely breathtaking. Detailed rosewood and teak wood carving, carved columns holding oil lamps, huge earthen urns, and jackfruit tree columns, colored mica on the windows mesmerizes us. Every part of the palace, varying from Dance halls, museums, council chamber, dining halls, Queen Mother Palace, inner courtyards to the King’s room, presents a creative interior with admirable art works.

The temperature inside the palace is always normal, even if it is hot or cold outside. All the rooms in palace have good ventilation and airy. This is a piece of world class architecture.

All the best @Gurukrishnapriya

Yes, you can plan Kerala with Kanyakumari.

My best plan was - Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam to Alappuzha by jetty, Thekkady, Munnar & finally Kochi. It was a superb trip.

@Gurukrishnapriya In my opinion, the best season for visiting to Kerala is between October to December (after rainy season). Nature is at its best during this period.
