Amur River Embankment in the city of Khabarovsk (Russia), named in 1993 by the name of the great Russian Admiral Gennady Ivanovich Nevelsky.
It is very beautiful here at any time of the year. This is the calling card of Khabarovsk, a wonderful, most beautiful and favorite place for walking and relaxing for citizens and visitors.
In the center of the embankment is the famous Amursky cliff with an observation deck from which picturesque paintings of the city and the mighty Amur open.
This is the venue for ceremonial and entertainment events, showing various show programs.
It is also a historical place. On May 31, 1858, on the deserted Amur coast, where the city is now stretched, a detachment of the 13th Linear Siberian Battalion landed under the command of Captain Dyachenko, and laid down a military post, soon called Khabarovka.
Along the promenade there is a city beach and a pier, from which you can go for a short walk along the Amur River with many pleasant and positive emotions and impressions.
