Amazing Sheep Drive in New Zealand - Unforgettable

In 2016 March/April I was visitng New Zealand. We first went to Auckland, stayed a few days there, flew to Christchurch, hired a car for the tour around the South Island. As it turned out it was an amazing trip, what a beautiful country. Leave that for later, but I now want share with you this unforgettable episode captured in this video of a Sheep Drive from one pasture to another across the main road. It was nearing dusk, we were driving from Dunedin to Te Anau, so I think this is nearer to Te Anau; unfortunately I do not have the exact location. There was a road block and we were asked to pull into a sort of a side road. And then it began, the sheer scale of it was amazing, could be over 5000 sheep as I understood, and managed by one man and one dog !! Watch till the end of the unedited video (just 2 and a bit minutes) to see how the dog which was patiently waiting in the back of his pick-up, came out and rounded up the last stragglers. It actually then ran straight back to its place in the back of the pick-up .

@shantanu-kaizen , As far as I was concerned this was an unforgettable experience. A man and a dog managing about 3-4,000 sheep.
