- Kanyakumari Sunrise and Sunset
Disclaimer: This is not a normal sunrise and sunset picture.
Why It’s Amazing?
Kanyakumari is the only place in India where you can witness both sunrise and sunset over the ocean from the same spot.
It’s where three water bodies—the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean—merge, creating unique waves and colors in the water.
On full moon days, you can see the sunset and the moonrise at the same time, on opposite horizons—an extremely rare sight!

- Chilka Lake
Second photo because it deserves
Again not a normal lake
Why its Amazing
Chilika Lake is Asia’s largest coastal lagoon, covering over 1,100 square kilometers.
It’s home to the rare Irrawaddy dolphins, which are different from ocean dolphins as they have a rounded head and prefer brackish water.
The lake attracts over 160 species of migratory birds from Siberia, Russia, and Iran, especially in winter.
The water constantly shifts between freshwater and saltwater, making it a unique ecosystem.
