The Icon of Hunza valley The oldest fort of Hunza is Altit fort without visiting Altit fort Hunza visit is incomplete It has made on the top of a mountain although you can reach fort by any transport but from the back side of fort can see hundreds meter down Hunza river and KKH.
This fort is more than 600 years old and you can still see,according to some historians the central Tower of fort is almost 1000 years old.
the unique architecture and walls made of stones. There are also some old pottery and some old things related to the royal family of Hunza can be seen.
you will feel here as you are in the hundreds years ago era. Out side the Hunza there are many restaurants who serves traditional Hunza food which is very tasty and different from the other part of the country unfortunately I don’t have the pictures of traditional food.
