1.My helped do not seem to be added to my totals.
2.I’m wondering if this photo views graph looks normal with green dots trending up as opposed to a solid green line. Does this mean something related to my photos ?
any insight appreciated.

Total photo Views: 554987
Total review views: 58328
Total views: (554987 + 58328) = 613315 ~ 613K (your app showing 611K, the difference is just around 2K and it happens during the view count refreshment)
The green dots represents your photo contribution on those particular dates and it also shows how many photos you added if you click on the green dots.

The green dots are representing the days of the last week when you contributed with photos, while the green solid line is showing the days on which you didn’t added any photo.
So if you add one or more photos every day of the week the trend will be a dotted line, while if you add no photo you will have a solid line.
As explained by @DibyayanC there is always a small difference between the sum of the real time views and the total displayed on your profile. The reason is that, to save resources, the total count is updated only a few times per week.
Of course on the first weeks of contributions the difference in percentage is relevant, to become almost invisible after a few months of contributions.
As you are a new Local Guide I suggest you to be more careful about the photos you post.
Avoiding redundancy and duplicates, and adding the photos in the correct place, instead of the bus tour POI, will give you the opportunity to get much more views and a better performance of your photos
