As a child, one comes to mind knowing things and places that you see on television. In general, all children would like to see places like Disney, amusement parks, water worlds, but in reality, it is so. Everything goes according to age, and when you grow up, your interests are changing. For example, when I was a child, I would have liked to know volcanoes, explore snow-capped mountains, navigate rivers and even I would have liked to know the African continent.
I have always been a great football fan, everything started to change around the year 2000, when I started to see Italian football and immediately fell in love with the team from the capital, AS Roma. I always saw my schoolmates travel to other countries and I never had the opportunity to do so at an early age, but in my mind, I already saw the idea of getting to know Europe, especially Italy… to be more specific, Rome.
Talking a little more about me, I have always liked the beaches, for me, it is a perfect place to be with family or friends. In Panama, we have the best beaches in the Pacific and personally, those with big waves. For now, I am going to pause, in what was my adolescence and my interests and I am going to retake the dream that I always had, which was to travel. Now that I am an adult, I have fulfilled my dream, to be able to travel and know where. Yes, the one I’ve always wanted. I already had the mentality that I was going to support myself with Google maps and also leave my comments about the trip. I did it from the first moment, with the places I visit and the restaurants.
To finish for the moment with my brief history, I was able to fulfill another dream within another, attending the derby of the capital, at the Stadio Olimpico di Roma, which was a very special moment that will remain engraved in my memory.
What does the Local Guides program mean to you? without a doubt, help people in the way that they find the places they are looking for, guide themselves with images of the places, find accessible routes on their trips, site suggestions, I love to share restaurants and food. This has already become a lifestyle and almost a daily routine. It means a lot to me because just as I make contributions, these contributions helped me when I traveled to Italy and Spain. Information, about routes, the ratings of the places. I will continue to contribute to this. Also, it was very important to contribute to when it was done, the JMJ (Jornada Mundial de la Juventud) was performed in Panama.
