I gathered all details needed for my ride. On December 11th 2020 I purchased a new bicycle for my ride. That was after 7 years I was on a cycle. Then I did cycling every day to prepare myself and boost my stamina. I got only 4 weeks left. In that 4 weeks, I purchased all equipment for a long-distance bicycle tour.
Decathlon was my prior choice to purchase the types of equipment.
I had to purchase items like luggage bags, luggage carrier, cycle pump, spare cycle tube, camping tent, sleeping bag, tools for repairing the cycle, and also I had to learn some maintenance work. @AjithCyclist helped me a lot with it.
After all this, on January 13th 2021 my journey was officially flagged off by Mr IM Vijayan, the former professional Indian football player who also captained the India national football team. It was a proud moment for me.
The flag off was done as an official start, but my actual ride began on 14th January 2021.
It was an emotional moment for me to leave my home, parents, and friends.
But I was also happy that I was going to achieve my dreams. It was like a life-changing moment for me… And it really was.
(…to be continued…)

I look forward to what you discover and experience on your ride @SreejithJayasankar you might take a look at the posts from cycling fellow @plavarda as he recounts his trips with words and photos beautifully and are a great example of what can be achieved.

Thank You @PaulPavlinovich for tagging me and for your consideration towards me. Traveling and narrating the journey is a unique experience. You look at the world with different eyes. There is not only the fatigue of the journey and the reward of arriving at the end of the day, but it is to observe everything carefully in order to then tell it better to your friends or readers. And so you notice much more the colors, smells, flavors of food, the shape of the landscape, the plants that grow, the flowers, the transparency of the water and many other things that simply pedaling you would not have noticed. Even if you are not a poet, everything becomes poetry. It’s good to tell dear @SreejithJayasankar as much as cycling!
A hug to both of you!

Thanks @plavarda . As you said, it was a whole different experience for me. I was out of my comfort zone, and I was still happy. Out of my daily routines, I woke up in different places every morning, watching many new faces, new emotions, new roads, new landscapes, and new skies.
