I had received this message before, but I ignored it. This time, I deliberately followed up and saw how they operate, and I found out that they were promoting fake reviews in a Telegram group.
This is a serious issue because if everyone writes fake reviews, it will be difficult to find real information on Google Maps. I request all of you to be cautious and try to avoid fake reviews. If you receive such an offer, please report it to Google support.
I urge you all to share this message with your contacts and help maintain the integrity of Google Maps.

I too get messages, calls and Private Messages on LG Connect, because I’m Level 10 LG… but I educate them & politely avoid any such activities.

@TravellerG Sirji you are right, we have to stay away from such activities. But this is a big problem and we have to discus deeply about it because such fake reviews will lead to big impact in Google Map. Google Map developer has to pay attention to this topic.

Actually I think those words are right when it’s about google map’s privacy and rules! And as an LG we should at anytime follow those rules and privacies in order to make sense about our Acts and about the role we’ve got and show the right example for the juniors. And aside I think about those reviews everyone may experience before bot on estimations or imaginations .. that make it appears reel and human and very useful! …thanks to you all!
I want to echo what other Local Guides have already shared here. Accepting payment in exchange for Google Maps reviews is not a behavior we tolerate. Such content goes against the Maps policies and does not align with the Local Guides community policy.
