Just wanted to share a quick story about how Aldi via DoorDash saved my holiday weekend.

Memorial Day was around the corner, and The Mr. had already promised a backyard barbecue for half the block… without telling me. :sweat_smile: Cue the scramble.

Instead of heading to a packed store, I placed a full Aldi order on DoorDash—chicken thighs, bacon, scallops, smoked sausage, kale, potatoes, and everything I needed to whip up a strawberry dump cake. Everything arrived fresh, well-packed, and fast. Zero broken eggs, no sad-looking produce. Huge win.

:cook: We ended up pulling off a great cookout with no store trip, and honestly, it felt like a modern-day miracle.

:light_bulb:Guide Tip: If you’ve got a holiday (or weekday!) that sneaks up on you, don’t sleep on grocery delivery. Aldi + DoorDash = budget-friendly, efficient, and stress-saving.

@ZelandasKitchen Nice story! It might be good to include the Maps link to the particular Aldi as well so others will know about the location.

I also didn’t realize that Aldi exists in US. I’ve lived in SF bay area for 15 years or so and never seen one. Now that I live in Australia I see it everywhere!

For your information, in US ALDI is named as Trader Joe’s that’s why you can’t oocate the. Whereas in Australia you seen ALDI as they are doing buisnesses by their own name & brand…

Interesting @kowshicks . I’ve been to trader’s joe many times in US but never felt the resemblance to Aldi, Thanks for the info.
