Every foodie wants to talk about food. They want to know all the places where they can do experiments with their taste buds. And in Delhi, you will find plenty of these places. AL BAKE from New Friends Colony (NFC) Market is one of those. It is also counted among the top three chicken points in Delhi with Karim’s (Chandni Chowk) and Khan Chacha (Khan Market).
One fine day, I and my friend Rohan decided to go to NFC to have the famous Shawarma of AL BAKE. We Used our Personal vehicle to reach there. You will get the parking easily inside and outside the boundaries of NFC, which are very safe and legal. Before reaching Al Bake we decided to explore the NFC market. Apart from Al Bake, there were many other places to eat like House of Pirates, Café Coffee Day, Pebble Street, Bon-Bon Bakery, etc. Eventually, we found Nathu’s Sweets which is one of the oldest restaurants of New Friends Colony Market. I must say NFC is a complete package for a full-day outing. Here you will also find a movie theatre, restaurants of every range and brands like Dominos, Mc Donald’s, etc. Everything is there and the local brands are also good.
Then we finally head towards Al Bake and took our seats. The ambiance is very different as compared to other shops. It was hot outside but still, it does not feel that hot while sitting there. This ambiance was best suited for non-vegetarians. It felt good. The Menu of Al Bake includes not only Shawarma but almost everything which a normal restaurant could offer. You can find a wide range of Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Starters. All types of Biryani are available like Veg, Mutton & Chicken Biryani. There are curries also if you would like to eat with bread. In addition to this, the menu also includes Chinese Cuisines, Variety of Rice & Bread. It was a complete menu.
However, we ordered what we came for, 2 plates of Shawarma. We were lucky to able to see the process of preparing Shawarma. It was amazing. Finally, the shawarma arrived at our table. With my 1st bite, I was sure that this is one of the best shawarmas I ever had. One of the best in the world. So, we manage to eat 8 of them.
Al bake Shawarma is one of the top 3 chicken points in Delhi. It was really fun to visit there. And it’s not even expensive. You can buy 2 shawarma is just Rs 120. I think that is more then what you can ask for. So don’t miss this place. Go to Al Bake and try that shawarma now. You can also find the full video of Al Bake at the end. Namaste
