‘Airport diaries’ is a fantastic series started by Guiding Star local guides @Pratik_89and @TusharSuradkar
The best part of this airport is the lounges, not the Terminals themselves, which are mostly long narrow stretches of white walls and floors.

Plaza Premium Lounge Taipei (Zone C)
Let’s start with an independent lounge called the Plaza Premium Lounge in Taipei, Taiwan - Zone C at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Firstly, if you are specifically looking for a fantastic eating experience then here is the best place. The menu is 90% vegan with few meat options. The highlight of the menu is the legendary Taiwanese beef noodles, which you can enjoy as much as you like with or without meat.
Next up we have brown Chinese tea eggs, which I took time to process due to all the noticeable veins, but taste quite good. There was also American-style bacon on offer which was perfectly crispy with an excellent meat-to-fat ratio, a rare find in Japan and other parts of Asia. The yakisoba-looking dish was very good; they added high-quality hand-rolled Chinese noodles to make them - nice and chewy textured.
Here we had so many interesting vegetarian options, too. Deed fried corn and potato balls. Vegan spring rolls were all very delish.

My conclusion is that it was worth it. Although the dining area was packed, food was always replenished promptly. The coffee bar was excellent, plus there is a whole other section with pastries and toaster ovens.
