Now in Arizona it never rains more than 10 minutes if you’re lucky and I call you tomorrow this picture grateful. I was driving home and it was pouring down rain but after the storm came its calm beautiful glow. Funny, as you get older you appreciate moments like this.
Hi @Giveback
I completely resonate with your sentiments. Thank you for sharing.
Dear @Giveback
Reading the title of your post reminds me of the song by Bill Withers, Ain’t No Sunshine. It also reminds of the movie “Notting Hill” (Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant)
Hello I am Erna from Michigan. I have never been to Arizona yet but one day I will. Would be nice to hear more posts about this State.

Tony, thank you for sharing that with me, it really did resonate with me. Thanks alot my friend.
I see you are a level 10, congratulations on your success. Thanks again, have a great weekend.
Nice to meet you Erna, yes it did reminde me of of those 2 things as well but my favorite reason for it was a guy named Andersen Silva who is/was one of the greatest gage fighters ever, (mma) mixed martial arts just in case you didn’t know, before every fight when he would walk out to the cage he would play that song but his version was remade by the late, rip DMX, and it was amazing. If you have never seen it before you should check it out.
Ok if you like hot and I mean really hot weather then Arizona is the place for you. I prefer cold but I have adapted to it. I love sports and here in AZ you have plenty of options, if not there are great places to go hiking, camping, etc. Imo if you like cooler weather you should check out Flagstaff, if heat is your game then check out Scottsdale, I think either way you can’t go wrong. Thanks for sharing with me. Have a great weekend. I am about to set up fb and Twitter etc and send you a request. Ttyl
Nice to meet you too @Giveback
Thanks for enlighting me more about that song, I found him Anderson Silva with DMX song on Ain’t No Sunshine with hip-hop version. It is a really nice switch but I still like the blues
Flagstaff sounds better for me. I grew up in a tropical country but cold best suits me very well. I have no problem visiting Scottsdale to check on that place. I hope one day I have a chance to go there.
Enjoy your weekend!
I like old school version better as well and cold is my bag. Well you know how to get ahold of me when you get here, I would be happy to show you around. Thanks for looking into Andersen Silva. Very nice of you to take the time. I bet you love tropical weather. My favorite weather is right b4 a huge storm. Hard to beat that for me. Well hope you are well and enjoy your day.
I love to hear the raindrop on top of my van and watching the storm coming … silly but I thought it was the best time to enjoy nature not just in its best but also in its worst.
Sure, I will contact you when I have a chance to visit AZ, @Giveback
Hahaha… I love this too @Erna_LaBeau Nature can be hauntingly beautiful at times, even mysterious. I enjoyed watching a typhoon unfold while soaking in an outdoor spa once. Ominous clouds forming in the offing against a mountainous backdrop.
Oh goodness Tony, I know it sounds fun but I would run and hide typhoon and tornado are not something to challenge for.
2010/2011 was the worst year ever in Michigan, our exchange student (he is the one in Tokyo right now) was so scared every time he heard the serene and we run to the bathtub thank god it never touched down in my area.
It was the most scary year in my life time in MI, @user_not_found
