AI speaker in Bulgarian - could it be changed to human voice back?

Hello, all.

From some time Google maps AI speaker is used in Bulgarian Google maps - when you search for direction.

Because Bulgarian is a Cyrillic language the AI voice is not very good in pronouncing some words.
For example - it is not clear which exit to use in a roundabout. And that could bring some incidents on the road. There are other examples as well.

My question is - could the AI speaker be changed to human voice back?
And how?
Or not?

Thank you.

The voice in Australia changed a while back to a not nice voice too, I’m pleased to say its back to its normal self now so get that feedback coming in @BorislavA and maybe it can be updated.

@PaulPavlinovich thank you so much. I will follow this.

@BorislavA I don’t think there is much of a solution for your current problem. The ai voice is the current standards for the Google maps platform. And like you said the Bulgarian user base is small , so there may not be any alternative voice currently available to replace the AI voice. I would suggest you to give a feedback explaining your issue with example. The more users give feedback, more chance the Google may address this issue.

@SarathUpendran , got it, thank you.

We got an AI voice for a while here in Australia, and its back to a human now - or a really good AI voice - it can be hard to tell the difference when they are good.

As for Bulgaria being small - some of the Local Guides team works out of Bulgaria so you might say its partially a home!
