An ahu is an altar or a platform that support any moai or set of them in Pascuense (Rapa Nui language). Just as the Ahu Tahai is the one chosen to enjoy the sunset, the Ahu Tongariki is the image that all those who travel to Easter Island keep of their sunrises… totally dreamlike. It is no wonder, since we are talking about the largest ceremonial center, not only on the island, but in all of Polynesia, with nothing comparable on either side of the Pacific Ocean. It is located in Hanga Nui (great bay) and represents all main clan that coexisted on the island (15)

Algunos detalles que podría agregar al post los enlaces de Google Maps para saber dónde está ubicado, contar un poco más de su experiencia en el lugar y contarle a otros local guide los costos, si es fácil llegar,etc.
