I’m a student at the intersection of two continents. I am so lucky to be born in such a multicultural city and aware of the responsibility that this put on my shoulders because of now I need to be an Istanbul gentleman and protect the cities culture but also welcome people who are coming to this city and truly represent the culture of the city. Being a google local guide helps me to share my voice in a particular place like the ghosts of the ancient continuously reminding who passed there and what they have to say. Like this, I can share local stories so that ones who visit the city would know the meaning behind the place. Also, this is a tool to reward the businesses doing a good job also warning places who don’t act according to this city’s reputation. I want people to visit this city and while I’m sharing my experiences I’m traveling each place here and discovering new places that I’m eager to share.
