vorrei aggiungere delle foto di questo luogo https://maps.app.goo.gl/V9QkbVZgN5iiKAfn7 ma non mi compare il pulsante per farlo ne da smartphone ne da browser web (pc).
Qualcuno può aiutarmi?

My understanding is that in some areas of the world, you cannot add photos to a town. I believe this is the problem that you’re encountering. I can do it here in the United States.
@Rednewt74 it seems to me there is a different reason: the link provided by @Alfred_V points to a town, rather than a place within a town. If I remember correctly, you can only add photos to places (restaurants,monuments, or other points of interests) , but not to an entire town or region. The link points to Morano Calabro and indeed, I don’t see the Add Photos neither, however if I select any place inside that town, for example “Serbatoio di Eianina”, I do see the button.

@WilfriedB Esatto si tratta di una città…io ho fatto foto panoramiche con drone e riguardano tutta la città e non un punto specifico…vorrei inserirle come foto per la città

Quello che dice @WilfriedB è esatto, e ne troverai conferma direttamente nell’help di Google Maps, in Aggiungere, rimuovere o condividere foto o video in Google Maps : "Non puoi aggiungere foto o video a indirizzi o coordinate." Questo è il motivo per cui non trovi il pulsante per aggiungere foto.
Generalmente Google Maps acquisisce le immagini di città e paesi direttamente da quelle postate nelle schede di Maps.
Le immagini che vedi seguendo il tuo link sono state caricate seguendo una procedura possibile ma non consentita, per cui secondo le regole di Maps sarebbe appropriato segnalare le guide locali che le hanno inserite.
Ti consiglio pertanto di individuare se possibile le schede dei luoghi dei quali vuoi inserire le immagini, oppure di non caricarle in Maps

Quindi non posso fare come hanno fatto gli altri per inserire le foto?
Non mi va di segnalarli perchè non voglio che compaia il mio nome nella segnalazione, credo che chi le ha caricate non sapesse nemmeno di infrangere qualche regola, anche perchè mi viene da pensare che se ci sono foto, google ha permesso loro di condividerle, se il sistema fosse sicuro, questo non sarebbe successo, almeno credo.
@Rednewt74 Esatto, non posso aggiungere foto ad una città. Questo è assurdo perchè significa che le persone devono affidarsi alle immagini di wikipedia o altro…ma se stai utilizzando google maps sarebbe opportuno poterle inserire direttamente nel navigatore che stai utilizzando…mi sembra una regola molto strana e senza senso
Prima di tutto ti chiedo cortesemente di “taggare” la persona a cui rispondi. EDIT: Vedi che hai corretto il post. Le guide locali molto attive seguono molte conversazioni e possono perdere una risposta se non sanno che è destinata a loro.
So che vengono fatte molte ricerche su cosa gli utenti cercano in Maps, e credo che solo una esigua minoranza cerchi paesi e città, mentre la maggior parte cerca luoghi specifici. Paesi e città che comunque mostrano le immagini caricate nei luoghi più rilevanti, come musei e monumenti.
Il fatto di usare una procedura non consentita per caricare tali immagini è una cosa che sconsiglio di fare, perché potrebbe portare alla rimozione dal programma (cosa già accaduta in molti casi dove questa pratica è stata usata in modo estensivo).
Però potresti sempre fare un post chiedendo che il pulsante venga attivato, in modo da avviare una discussione su questo argomento
ciao @ErmesT pensavo che cliccando sul tasto “rispondi” il tag fosse automatico…non ricordavo di dover taggare manualmente ma l’ho fatto non appena mi sono accorto che il tag non c’era.

I stand corrected. I was certain that I had added to my town’s map profile, but now see there is no add button there. Also, last fall I took a picture of a political rally on Main st. and was sure I had added it as an Update to the town’s profile, but again this option is not there now.
I think what confused me, is that when I scroll through the photos in Brattleboro’s, VT gallery I see several of mine, but I realize they were added to specific places. What I noticed when looking at this is that if you scroll to the right, it has a tab showing all of my photos.
None of this solves the problem, but I thought it was interesting. I agree that we should talk about this with the hopes of getting Maps to add the feature.

I also learned it very recently and wonder, if it is new. It did help me a lot to “clean up” photos I uploaded in the past, some directly to place (restaurants…etc) and others for the same place but attached to a recension. When you upload some pictures immediately on site from Android and others later at the desktop included with a comment, you can easily loose track about what you did or did not post.

@WilfriedB it is easy to lose track. And for a while I would respond to Maps request to upload recent photos even through I already have.
For the last few months I add any photo I take specifically for maps to a maps album and star any that I actually use. Once I gone through them, I archive them, so they are still around, but aren’t visible in my main gallery; this way it’s clear whether or not I have used them. If you are a high volume guide it may be too much work, but I find it very helpful.

@ErmesT Per fare un post in cui chiedo di poter attivare il pulsante di aggiunta foto per le città, posso taggare qualcuno del team di google che puoi consigliarmi? (magari non taggarlo subito qui ma inserisci il link al suo profilo così quando sarò pronto con il post, inserirò il suo nickname). Grazie

I assume “album” refers to a Google Photos album? Clever approach, but I’m afraid it will be charged against our storage quota in Drive?
Anyway, I manage all of my photos in Daminion (based on a SQL database) and recently started trying to keep track by storing the permalink for each photo immediately after uploading in the database.

Yes they are charged against your storage. I periodically go back and delete older ones.
Database is good solution. I go through spurts of tracking every photo and video when I’m looking for trends. But I get lazy. I just discovered that on a desktop you can save a link to a photo and not just the POI. It is very clever of you to store these in your database. Very elegant. I archive mine for the visual reference but you achieve the same thing.
