In this article I want to share a recipe called ‘Tongseng’. There are various recipes about this Tongseng, different regions also different spices used
This time I made my own Tongseng, but when my children ate my homemade Tongseng, they said that my Tongseng was exactly the same as the Tongseng in the restaurant we used to visit🤭
The ingredients were:
mutton
Ingredients
salt,sugar,broth powder
~500gram mutton, thinly sliced / according to taste
~5 cloves Garlic
~7 cloves shallot
~sugar, salt, broth powder to taste
~100ml coconut milk
~300ml water
~Cabbage to taste,sliced to taste
~1 tomato sliced cubed
~Chili sliced according to taste
~Lime leaves to taste
~Lemon grass to taste
~Pepper powder to taste
~sweet soya sauce to taste
~10 candlenut
~turmeric to taste
~Vegetable Oil for souteing

How to cook:
~Puree onion, garlic, turmeric, candlenut
~Boil 300 ml of water, then add the goat meat, remove the scum from the pan (to get clean broth)
~Saute ground spices, until fragrant, then add sugar, salt, pepper, powdered broth, sweet soy sauce, stir
~Enter the mutton and boiled water
~Add the sweet soy sauce
~Add coconut milk
Taste correction
~Enter the slices of chillies and tomatoes stir and then turn off the stove
~Add the slices cabbage when stove is off
