Hi there! Local Guides Myself Dinabandhu Barick, will be hosting Local Guides meet-up in Chandannagar, Hooghly, W.B, India. This will be the first meetup organised by me on this platform. A brief about Chandnanagar! A former French Colony; “Chandannagar” is a city on the banks of river Hooghly. It is a place with historical importance. Chandannagar is also known for its grand festival Jagadhatri Puja that attracts massive visitors from many places, Road show of Light & Idol during the last day of Jagadhatri Puja is very popular and engaging. “JolBhara Sondesh” is a popular sweet item in this area. Now let me tell you about meet-up! River Side Chandannagar Strand is a very popular area of this place. We will be meeting at Chandernagore Strand on Friday, 19th of April, 2019 @ 3 P.M. Initially i will be discussing about Local Guides Program with existing local guides or new comers if any and a Question and Answer session will be there too. I also have a plan to conduct a Quiz about Chandannagar & Its History and give reward to the best scorer. Thereafter we will be heading for a Photo Walk nearby and the Meet-up will be end after having evening Snacks! Exact Meeting Location : Chandannagar Strand Opposite Chandernagore College Gate Extra Mentions! *) Joining this meet-up is free! but you will be responsible for own travel expenses. *) Please bring mobile with Google Maps Installed and ensuring enough charge and date balance. Carrying charging power bank is recommended.

@KatyaL I was too tensed regarding my Meetup approval. Now i understand what is the actual reason for the same. I want to thank you for your consideration for approving my meetup post and taking it out of the spam filter. I am preparing myself for the success of my meetup.
