After the tropical storm called “Cristobal” that pass through Mexico and is in the way to the U.S., it left some disasters in my town Quintana Roo, not as much as other parts of Mexico, like Yucatan that was in the middle of this Storm, there are some towns floating in water.
@ArtydaParty the storm is very scary
@SvitlanaChurina tnx for the comment
So sorry to hear about the impact of Cristobal on Mexico and Central America, @ArtydaParty - I do appreciate you sharing the photos of the aftermath and hope you and your family are safe. As a Local Guide from Miami, weather (and hurricanes) always interests me and I’ve been to Quintana Roo so I’m glad the damage was not too severe there.
Hi @ArtydaParty
Wow seems like a heavy storm. Do you get those a lot there? Is it typical? Is this place close to Cancun? I’d love to visit Mexico some day. Which places would you recommend for me to visit?
Thanks for sharing.
@SP31 the storm wasnt that bad!
It cleaned the beach and threw some trees where i live, in another places like playa del carmen a few business were affected but nothing bad!
And i love the storm!
Hi @DanniS !
We dont get a lot of them, maybe like twice or 3 times a year, and yes is close to Cancun like 30 minutes driving from Cancun, is the closest town after Cancun, and i recommend u to come to this town called Puerto Morelos, and call me and i can give u a tour and do some activities.
As soon as it open the borders and we are all allowed to travel u can visit Mexico. Cheers
@ArtydaParty I would love to visit Mexico! I have a friend who’s from Guadalajara and he keeps telling me so many wonderful things about the country and all the amazing beaches. For sure I will come!
Only strong people can take “Photos” even during the Storm.
I know I am late in coming here, but I still want to say; “Sorry, about the disaster you had to experience”. @ArtydaParty
