Congratulations on posting new articles after several months and welcome back to the wonderful world of LG Connect.
Additionally, I would also suggest changing the setting to display the picture in a larger size - that would look awesome.

I was wondering how I can adjust the sizes for videos as well.

Nothing easier than that.
When inserting a video, select the Large size from the drop-down
Also note that the preview may be smaller than the actual video but after inserting it in the post, the video appears large.
