After Reading Private messages automatically Remove Red Notifications.

Hello!!!

Local Guides Community.

I observe that when we receive private message than red notifications shown on top of our profile.

When we read those messages then still it appear same as.

When I open connect to check new updates or notifications, it still appear same as.

It’s create confusion that it’s notifications. And it’s unnecessary shown.

Sometimes we receive good amount of notifications and every moment we can’t able to remember which amount of private message we got/Received. When notifications amount and Receive messages amount add automatically, it’s create more confusion.

Here amount means numbers.

I want to when we read notifications then it’s automatically not shown.

Same type of technic apply in Private messages notifications.

And no need to read and unread settings because it’s create some confusion. When user read message it’s automatically remove from above the profile.

Hope you are great. Hope you are staying safe.

I read your idea and I want to tell you that the feature you are describing is working perfect.

When you have a reminder in your profile wherever is a Private Message or a bell notification, instantly disappear when you read it. I don’t have the issue you are describing.

Have you tried changing any setup of Connect?

I change my settings and now it’s ok…

If your problem was solved I think that this idea should be closed, or merged to the How-Tos board as question solved.

In relation to the matter, it would seem that what @SebaasC kindly shared (the reply has been markter as Solution for the providing direct inromation on the matter) would be best suited in the How-tos board, as follow up to that the current post would be proceeded as described.

Should there be further similar inquiries, it is suggested to have it shared in the How-tos board, as in case for any feedback/suggestion on that regard, the Idea Exchange board is to be used.
