I upload a lot of photos to Google Maps, and my best photo got tens of thousands of views. However, my favorite photo is the one took at a lakeside in Wooster, OH. I used to be quite lonely in college because I was depressed and chose to isolate myself from my friends during my sophomore and junior years after some events during the summer holiday of my freshman year (don’t worry. I recovered and had a great time with my friends during my senior year which will remain as one of my most treasured memories.) During my junior year, I got a new car (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon) which I was very fond of. Therefore, I drove around the tiny college town and discovered some very beautiful places in this Ohioan countryside. That winter was very snowy, so the ground was covered in a breathtakingly beautiful white blanket. The entire landscape was simply magical with all the campus buildings in white. I walked in a large and empty cornfield covered in deep snow. It was a very soothing and relaxing experience because you could see the trees in your horizon. During the late spring, I would drive to this lakeside community (the entrance of the road said “private,” but I ignored it lol.) The forest around the lake was very verdant which made a great impression to me. I still can remember the trees, the houses and the lake that I saw during my visits there. Occasionally, a car would drive by, but the whole place was quiet which was very calming. These landscapes are something that the city (or suburban) folks would never understand. It was at the lakeside that I took that memorable picture and uploaded it to Google Maps. Thank you.
